David Seidman

David Seidman is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Platform Security at Plaid, where the focus is on preventative security controls and detection and response. Previously, David led the SecOps team at Robinhood, overseeing various security functions including Detection & Response, Insider Threat, and Threat Intelligence. Prior positions include Head of Detection & Response Platform at Salesforce and Security Engineering Manager at Google, where David played a pivotal role in developing innovative detection strategies, particularly for Google Cloud. David's foundational experience in security management was gained at Microsoft, handling critical security issues through the Microsoft Security Response Center. Educational credentials include a BA and MA in Computer Science with a focus on Cognitive and Neural Systems from Boston University, complemented by studies at Dartmouth College.
