Larkins Carvalho

Larkins Carvalho is a seasoned security professional with significant experience in product security and engineering. Currently serving as a Product Security Engineer at Plaid since July 2022, Larkins has previously worked as a Security Engineer at Amazon Web Services from April 2021 to July 2022 and as a Security Researcher at Intel Corporation from June 2015 to April 2021. Larkins' expertise includes threat modeling, SDLC execution across product lifecycles, and enhancing security capabilities in platform and backend engineering. Larkins began a career in security as a Software Development Intern contributing to Open Security Controller, developing REST API interfaces and product features. Larkins holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, complemented by advanced certifications in cybersecurity from Stanford University and Purdue University.
