Mike Rowland is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as Tech Lead and Manager in the Identity Verification group at Plaid since September 2019. Prior to this role, Mike held various engineering management and software engineering positions at Plaid, including Senior Engineering Manager for Core Services and contributed significantly to the Data Infrastructure team by creating a data lake that facilitated new product development. Earlier experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at Google, where Mike led key backend system projects for the internal startup Tailor, and developed algorithms for Project Fi. Additional experience includes a teaching assistant position at Brown University, internships at Google and TripAdvisor, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Brown University.
