Jesús Hernández

Jesús Hernández has held a variety of roles in the software engineering industry. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Plain. From 2018 to 2021, they held a variety of roles at LloydsDirect (formerly Echo), including Engineering Manager, Principal Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Data Engineer at Lyst. In 2012, they worked as a Backend Engineer at Spotbros. Also in 2012, they worked as a Research Student at DataSys Lab (IIT), studying the suitability of public cloud platforms for scientific applications from a compute and storage perspective, supervised by Dr. Ioan Raicu, guest research faculty in the Math and Computer Science Division (MCS) at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL).

Jesús Hernández obtained their Master of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology between 2011 and 2012. Between 2007 and 2012, they obtained their Telecommunications engineer degree with a major in communications from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
