Simon Rohrbach

Simon Rohrbach has a long and varied career in the tech industry. In 2004, they began an apprenticeship at Swisscom, Switzerland's largest telecommunications operator. After graduating in 2008, they completed an Interaction & Graphic Design Internship at Prigenius. In 2009, they became a Self-Employed Interaction & Visual Designer. In 2010, they founded and ran a small product design agency called Serious International, and built a flat-sharing classifieds product called Apartli. In 2013, they were recruited to build a design team at London-based business incubator Made By Cinema. In 2014, they joined Deliveroo as the Head of Design. Simon eventually became the Director of Content, Research & Design, and was part of the senior management team for the 300-strong Technology organisation. In 2019, they became a Mentor in Residence at Index Ventures. Most recently, in 2020, they co-founded Plain, a customer care tool for the companies of the next decade.

Simon Rohrbach attended the Berufsbildungszentrum Biel-Bienne from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended WKS Bern from 2004 to 2006.
