Amanda Hessel

Amanda Hessel is a dedicated nursing professional with extensive experience in varied healthcare settings. Currently serving as a School Nurse at Plainedge School District since October 2021, Amanda also works as a Registered Nurse at Island Eye Surgicenter, specializing in Pre-Op and PACU duties since January 2019. Prior nursing roles include Emergency Room Registered Nurse at Northwell Health, Med Surg/Telemetry RN at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and valuable experience as a nursing student at Stony Brook Medicine, where Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in May 2017. Additionally, Amanda contributed as a volunteer on the NICU floor at Good Samaritan Hospital. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, as well as studies at Nassau Community College.
