Darren O'Keeffe worked as a Head Custodian for the Plainfield Board of Education from March 1993. During their time there, they were responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in the building, as well as supervising a team of five. In September 2012, they joined Blue Buffalo Co as a Pet Detective until September 2017.
Darren O'Keeffe studied at Lincoln Tech from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they obtained a certification in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
