Lorraine Gilligan is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in special education and elementary teaching. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Plainfield Board of Education since September 2013, Lorraine has previously held positions at East Orange Community Charter School as an Elementary Teacher, Holmdel Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher, and Franklin Township Board of Education as an Elementary Teacher. Lorraine holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marygrove College, a certification for Teacher of Students with Disabilities from Georgian Court University, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Sociology from The College of New Jersey, and an Associate of Arts from Middlesex College.
