Carrie Young

Carrie Young is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in field operations and financial management accumulated over more than a decade. Currently serving as a Specialist in Field Operations Controls at Plains Midstream Canada since June 2022, Carrie's prior roles include Supervisor of Field Finance at NorthRiver Midstream Inc. and Finance Team Lead positions at both Enbridge and Spectra Energy. Throughout their career, Carrie has focused on month-end reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and team development. Carrie's foundational experience includes roles as a Senior Accountant and Senior Finance Assistant, highlighting expertise in finance operations and management support. Carrie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Northern British Columbia, obtained in 2007.
