Leanne Rekiel

Leanne Rekiel, MA, ABC, is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience spanning various industries. Currently serving as the Specialist in Communications & Sustainability at Plains Midstream Canada, Leanne is responsible for producing the Plains Sustainability Report and developing the enterprise-wide sustainability strategy, alongside leading the Canadian community investment strategy. As a communication consultant with Rekiel Communication, Leanne provides strategic counsel and develops communication plans tailored to client needs. Previous roles include Innovation Advisor at Alberta Health Services, where Leanne managed communications for educational programs, and Senior Communications Advisor positions at both Calgary West Central Primary Care Network and STARS, focusing on internal communications and stakeholder engagement. Leanne has also contributed to the International Association of Business Communicators Calgary chapter, promoting professional development and accreditation.
