Erica Nichols

Erica Nichols is an experienced credit officer with a strong background in banking and finance. Currently serving as a Credit Officer at PlainsCapital Bank since March 2020, Erica has previously held key positions at Texas Capital Bank from December 2013 to March 2020, including Associate Credit Officer, Team Lead - Credit Underwriting, and Credit Underwriter. Earlier experience includes working as a Credit Analyst at United Texas Bank and various roles at Frost Bank, culminating in the position of Relationship Manager. Erica also gained regulatory experience as an Associate National Bank Examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency from June 2008 to February 2011. Erica holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Tyler.
