Aaqib Habib

Aaqib Habib has worked in the software quality assurance field since 2017. Aaqib began their career at CCJK Technologies, a China-based translation marketplace, where they were part of a Scrum team of four QA Engineers. There, they set up a new test automation framework using Java and Selenium. In 2018, they moved to CareAxiom, a Chicago-based startup offering an EHR software suite. There, they worked on a Scrum team of five QA Engineers and increased the test automation coverage from 25% to almost 37% within a year. In 2020, they joined Contour Software, a CRM platform for real estate professionals, as an SQA Analyst. Aaqib worked on a Scrum team of six and developed the entire testing life cycle including manual and automation tests. Aaqib built the framework from scratch using Java, Selenium and TestNG. Currently, they are employed at Plan A, where they are a QA Engineer working on software to cater sustainability needs involving Emissions calculation, Decarbonisation, and ESG reporting. Aaqib is part of an evolving QA team and has developed an automation framework from scratch using Cypress and Typescript.

Aaqib Habib completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in 2016. Aaqib has also earned the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in September 2019.
