Carsten Windler has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and development. From 2005 to 2007, they were a Software Development Consultant for CONFABS GmbH. From 2007 to 2009, they were a Software Development Consultant for Windler Consulting. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Software Developer for Richter & Poweleit GmbH. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Lead Developer and Senior PHP Developer for FTI Group. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Team Manager PHP Core Development for FTI Touristik AG. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Global Head of Software Development, Head of Software Development - HUB, and Head of Software Development - Publishing for HolidayPirates Group. From 2020 to present, they have held roles as Head of Engineering for KW-Commerce GmbH, Chief Technology Officer for bookingkit, and Principal Engineer and Lead Backend Engineer for Plan A.
Carsten Windler obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Freie Universität Berlin between 1999 and 2005. Carsten also holds a certification as a Zend Certified Engineer (PHP 5) from Zend by Rogue Wave Software.
