Elhadji Mamadou Dioukhane

Elhadji Mamadou Dioukhane is a seasoned public health specialist with extensive experience in managing public health programs and initiatives, particularly in HIV, TB, and malaria. Currently serving as a Public Health Specialist at Plan International Canada since December 2018, Elhadji provides technical guidance and support for funding request development and has played a key role in developing public health strategies across multiple countries. Previous roles include Chief of Party and Deputy-Chief of Party for Global Fund projects, where Elhadji ensured alignment with national strategies and facilitated quality grant programming. With a strong educational background that includes two Master's degrees in Public Health and Global Public Health, as well as a Doctorate in Medicine, Elhadji has also held significant positions at the District of Health in Ziguinchor and the Public Health Agency of Canada, showcasing a commitment to evidence-based practices and community health improvement.
