Adam Moyer has held various roles in the fields of meteorology and analytics since 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they were a Graduate Research Assistant and Instructor at The Pennsylvania State University, where they investigated the differences between two sets of gale radius statistics for the North Atlantic Ocean and educated undergraduate students in basic meteorology. In 2007, they became an Operational Forecaster at Bermuda Weather Service, where they prepared marine and local forecasts and interacted with outside operational agencies and the local media. In 2005, they were an Intern at the Hurricane Research Division, where they underwent training to properly use the H*WIND platform for evaluating surface wind fields of tropical cyclones. From 2008 to 2016, they held various roles at Planalytics, including Executive Vice President, Account Strategy and Operations, Senior Vice President of Customer Success, Senior Vice President, Analytics and Meteorology, and Vice President of Analytics. In 2016, they became an Adjunct Professor at Temple University, where they created content for a master's level course in Business Analytics and taught material to 35 MS, Business Analytics candidates.
Adam Moyer received a BS in Meteorology from Penn State University between 1999 and 2003. Adam then continued their studies at Penn State University, graduating with an MS in Meteorology in 2008. In 2013, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
