Derek Hundert

Derek Hundert, P. Eng has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Derek started their career at Imperial Oil in 2005, where they worked as a Construction Project Manager until 2008. During this time, they successfully managed construction projects and led technical and construction management reviews to secure project funding.

From 2008 to 2012, Derek worked as a Project Coordinator at Imperial Oil, where they created project plans and developed tracking tools to ensure timely and consistent project deliverables. Derek also played a key role in obtaining project funding by leading technical and construction management reviews.

In 2012, Derek joined PlanET Biogas Solutions Inc., where they held the position of General Manager until 2020. In this role, they managed the cost and schedule for the design and construction of a first-of-its-kind boiler package. Derek's exceptional management skills and ability to resolve technical and commercial issues were instrumental in the success of the projects.

Currently, Derek Hundert serves as the President of PlanET Biogas Solutions Inc, a role they assumed in May 2020.

Derek Hundert, P. Eng holds a B. Eng, Mgmt degree from McMaster University, where they studied Mechanical Engineering and Management from 2000 to 2005.
