Hoang Nguyen

Hoang Nguyen is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing solutions for the dental SaaS industry. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at Planet DDS since January 2021, Hoang has previously held positions as Software Engineer III and Software Engineer at Apteryx, Inc., contributing to the development of flagship products and overseeing key projects. Expertise includes Azure cloud technologies, DICOM server solutions, and web-based 3D visualizations built with WebGL. Additional experience encompasses research in software-defined networking and academic support as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Akron. Hoang holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The University of Akron.
