Sergio Henrique Collaço de Carvalho

Sergio Henrique Collaço de Carvalho serves as a Partner and Head of Sustainability at Planet First Partners since February 2021 and also holds the position of Head of Impact. In addition, Sergio is a Board Member at Submer and Nanogence SA since July 2024, and has been an Academic in Residence with Agent Green since December 2020. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Research and Product Development at ESGINE from June 2018 to June 2019 and various roles within the Brazilian Ministry of the Environment from 2011 to 2016, including Director of Strategic Management and Chief of Staff for the Vice Minister. Sergio also has extensive experience in environmental analysis and project management with institutions such as Instituto Chico Mendes and IBAMA. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Geography at the University of Oxford, Sergio holds multiple degrees in biology and environmental economics from Universidade de Brasília.
