Michael Steinson

Michael Steinson has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and services. Michael started their career in 1998 as a Technical Analyst II for the State of Connecticut, providing support to multiple state agencies. Michael then became a Technical Analyst III and served as the Information Technical Support Helpdesk Supervisor, overseeing a team and supporting 600 users. In 2009, they joined the Civil Air Patrol as a Leadership Officer until 2014.

In 2011, Michael worked as an IT Support Consultant for Community Health Network, providing support to 400 users. Michael also had a personal business venture as a Business Start-Up Consultant from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Technical Support Specialist for Webster Bank, assisting in the implementation and troubleshooting of internet security applications.

From 2014 to 2021, Michael had various short-term consulting positions. Michael worked as an IT Support Specialist for the Connecticut Department of Education, providing technical support for the implementation of online Connecticut Mastery Tests. Michael also worked as an Information Technology Specialist for Norwalk Hospital Associated Physicians Practices, performing site surveys for the migration to a new system.

In 2016, Michael joined Fiserv (Experis) as an Enterprise Technical Group Systems Support Specialist, troubleshooting hardware, software, applications, and network issues. Michael provided excellent customer service and had heavy client contact.

Most recently, in 2021, Michael joined Planet Home Lending, LLC as an Information Technology Operations Analyst.

Michael Steinson attended several educational institutions throughout their history. In 2006, they pursued a degree in Business Administration at Middlesex Community Technical College, where they completed 52 credits. In 2013, they attended Connecticut Computer Service for Microsoft Training, specifically focusing on the fundamentals of Windows Server. In 2015, they enrolled in New Horizons Bloomfield CT to study Computer and Information Systems Security. Additionally, during the same year, they also pursued Information Security Management, specifically CISM, at New Horizons Bloomfield, CT.
