Mikel Hatcher

Mikel Hatcher has a diverse work experience in the mortgage and banking industry. Mikel started their most recent position in December of 2021 as a Mortgage Compliance Testing Analyst at Planet Home Lending, LLC. Prior to that, Mikel worked at Homepoint, where they held various roles from 2017 to 2021, including Underwriter, Wholesale Loan Coordinator, and Correspondent Auditor. Before joining Homepoint, they worked at Indiana Members Credit Union from 2015 to 2017, focusing on Business Development and Mortgage Services. Mikel also gained valuable experience at Freedom Mortgage from 2011 to 2014 as a GFE Compliance Analyst, responsible for reviewing submissions for RESPA compliance and analyzing loan documentation. Their earliest work experience was at Union Federal Bank, where they worked from 2001 to 2010 in loan origination, specializing in consumer loans, closings, underwriting, and funding.
