Ben Carlos is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in mechanical design and product development. Currently serving as Team Manager and Senior Mechanical Designer at Planet Innovation since June 2022, Ben also contributes as a Sessional Instructor at Swinburne University of Technology, guiding third-year students in 'Design for Social Responsibility.' As the Owner and Lead Design Engineer at Bison Design Engineering Services, Ben offers diverse design solutions across multiple industries. Previously, roles included Design Engineer and Bespoke Lead at Lotus Doors, where Ben focused on new product development and custom project management, and Development Engineer at DEKS Industries, contributing to plumbing and civil water product innovations. Ben's career began at Daniels Health, progressing from a Design Engineer to a Senior Design Engineer, and includes early experience at Outerspace Design during studies in Product Design Engineering at Swinburne University.
