Matt Swan

Matt Swan is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and systems engineering across various industries. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Planet Innovation since September 2012, Matt collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to transform client concepts into viable commercial products, overseeing the full new product introduction process. Previously, Matt held positions such as Senior Mechanical Engineer at E.V. Engineering and Principal Mechanical Engineer at Invetech, where responsibilities included leadership on complex mechatronic and biomedical device projects and design of advanced systems. Early career roles include applications engineering at Robert Bosch and Delphi Automotive Systems, and test engineering at General Motors. Matt holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, completed in 1997.
