Senior Space Systems Engineer at Planet Labs

Henrique Costa is a skilled aerospace engineer with extensive experience in flight dynamics and software development. Currently serving as the Flight Dynamics Technical Lead at Neuraspace since February 2022, Henrique defines technical requirements and oversees the technical acceptance of development tasks. Previously, at the Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program and the Institute for Systems and Robotics, Henrique conducted research on modeling and control methods for space systems. Experience at GMV involved navigation analysis software development for the European Space Operations Center and participation in interplanetary mission design. Henrique also interned at GMV, focusing on trajectory optimization software for low-thrust maneuvers and held a position as Editor of Revista Aeroespacial at AeroTéc. Educational qualifications include dual M.Sc. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and Politecnico di Torino, along with coursework in finite element methods from Delft University of Technology.
