Mark Richardson

Mark Richardson possesses extensive experience in defense and security sectors, currently serving as the Director of National Security EMEA at Planet since July 2020, focusing on Earth Observation solutions. Previously, Mark held senior roles at QinetiQ and DigitalGlobe, specializing in sales management. As the Head of Defence Solutions at Envitia, Mark collaborated with government and system integrator clients to create innovative software solutions. Mark's career also includes project management at Linklaters and a decade at the UK Ministry of Defence, where responsibilities ranged from managing political risks in military operations to being a lead policy officer for the European Union. Mark holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Leicester.
