Simon Alford

Simon Alford is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in pre-sales, product management, and automotive products. Currently serving as Global VP Pre-Sales and Chief of Staff to the CRO at Planet since November 2021, Simon has also held various leadership roles, including Global VP Pre-Sales & Channel Partnerships and Global VP Pre-Sales. Prior to Planet, Simon worked at Autodesk from January 2015 to October 2021, where responsibilities included Director Global Pre-Sales and Director Automotive Products. Earlier roles at Majenta and Siemens PLM Software further solidified expertise in pre-sales and product management, with Simon beginning a career in product management and consulting from 1994 to 2005.
