Stephen Galsworthy

Stephen Galsworthy is an experienced technology and data leader currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Planet, where responsibilities include building analytical and AI capabilities. Previously, at TomTom, Stephen held the role of Head of Data, driving data transformation initiatives. As Chief Data Officer at Eneco Groep, Stephen led the transformation of Quby into a digital organization focused on data-powered services. Stephen has also contributed to Open Energi as Head of Technology & Data Science, developing algorithms for demand-side balancing services in the UK. The early career involved roles at TNO as a Smart Energy Consultant and academic positions at the University of Oxford and Universiteit Utrecht. Stephen holds a PhD in Mathematical Biology and a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
