Tymm Zerr

Tymm Zerr is an accomplished Senior Flight Software Engineer at Planet Labs since August 2015, specializing in embedded development for the Superdove and Pelican satellites, contributing significantly to onboard control systems and various subsystems. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Design Engineer at Miselu, focusing on optical sensing technology and embedded firmware for a music keyboard, and as a Senior Engineer at Internet Archive, where Tymm enhanced data storage systems. Additional expertise as a freelance embedded consultant involved comprehensive systems programming and hardware design, alongside earlier positions at FastScale Technology, Penguin Computing, Netli, and Netcreations, where Tymm developed clustering software and internet proxy solutions. Tymm holds an MPS in Interactive Communications from New York University and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
