Jumpei Takeuchi

Campus Ambassador at Planetary Health Alliance

Jumpei Takeuchi is a dedicated medical student at UNSW, pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree, with a focus on health and environmental issues demonstrated through a range of leadership roles. Current positions include Campus Ambassador for the Planetary Health Alliance and Chair of the National Student Committee for Doctors for the Environment Australia. Previous experiences include serving as an Honours Student Researcher at The Kirby Institute, participating in the IFMSA Delegation to UNFCCC COP27, and consulting for 180 Degree Consulting. Jumpei has a rich background in medical student associations, having coordinated national projects for the Australian Medical Students' Association and worked with IFMSA's Taskforce for Health, Environment and Climate Change. Education was also completed at UWC Mahindra College and Makuhari Junior/Senior High School.
