Jim Turner

Jim Turner has extensive experience in corporate development, currently serving as Operating Advisor at The CapStreet Group, where responsibilities include leading corporate development for various portfolio companies to enhance growth through acquisitions and partnerships. Additionally, Jim holds several positions as Head of Corporate Development across multiple organizations including PlanetBids, Incentive Solutions, Credit Bureau Connection, hh2 Cloud Services, WIN-911, and TradePending, focusing on driving growth and strategic initiatives within their respective industries. As Managing Director at Deerwood Advisors, Inc., Jim assists privately-owned companies in growth through acquisitions and capital access. Previous roles include Partner and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at TiP Excise and Managing Director of Corporate Development at TIP of Houston. Jim earned a BA in Economics and English from Amherst College and completed education at Edina Senior High School.
