Moustapha Mama Njayou is a seasoned project management coordinator with extensive experience in biodiversity and climate change. Currently serving as the Project Management Coordinator at Planète Urgence since September 2022, Njayou oversees the CAMERR project aimed at reforesting 1000 hectares of mangrove in the Wouri and Ntem estuaries by 2026. Prior roles include positions as an Expert in Biodiversity and Climate Change at the Fondation pour le Tri-national de la Sangha and a consultant for the Centre de recherche forestière internationale, where training on REDD+ and sustainable mangrove management was provided. Njayou has also held technical advisory roles with IUCN-Cameroon and WWF Cameroun, contributing to conservation initiatives across multiple Central African countries. With a solid educational background in plant biology, agroforestry, and climate change mitigation from esteemed institutions, Njayou brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to environmental conservation efforts.
