Ian Sacs

Ian Sacs, P.E. is a seasoned transport planner and engineer with extensive experience in smart mobility and urban transportation systems. Currently serving as Market Manager for Smart Mobility at Ramboll Finland Oy since November 2012, Ian has been involved in global projects encompassing master planning and municipal program implementation, specializing in multi-modal systems and parking solutions. Ian holds advisory roles with the Green Parking Council and contributes to Planetizen as a blogger, sharing insights on transportation planning. Prior positions include Transportation and Parking Director for the City of Hoboken, where leadership encompassed a team of approximately 90 employees and a budget of $14 million.
