Joshua Ruthruff

Joshua Ruthruff has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joshua is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at PlanHub, starting in March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget from 2015 to 2021, where they held positions such as IT Programmer/Analyst and Software Testing Intern. Joshua also had a brief contract role at the State of Michigan, DTMB, where they worked on the Quality Assurance, Remedy Conversion Project in 2014. Earlier in their career, they gained experience at Peckham, Inc. as a DLA Enterprise IT Help Desk Technician and in a business services IT role. Joshua also had an internship at Sparrow Health System as a Help Desk Coordinator. Throughout their career, Joshua has demonstrated skills in software engineering, testing, customer service, and IT support.

Joshua Ruthruff has a diverse education history in the field of information technology. In 2005 to 2008, they attended Capital Area Career Center, where they pursued studies in Information Technologies. However, no specific degree was mentioned for this period. Joshua then went on to attend Lansing Community College from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a Certificate of Achievement in Computer Software Testing. Additionally, during this time, they also pursued an Associate of Business degree with a specialization in Programmer/Analyst.

In addition to their formal education, Joshua Ruthruff holds several certifications. In 2006, they obtained a Microsoft Office Specialist certification for the 2003 edition, in the areas of Word, Excel, Expert Excel, and PowerPoint. In 2011, they achieved the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist / MCP certification from Microsoft. Furthermore, in the same year, they obtained the CompTIA A+ certification from the Computing Technology Industry Association. Lastly, in 2012, Joshua obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification, also from the Computing Technology Industry Association.
