Annie Revill

Annie Revill has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Annie co-founded Plank Hardware in 2019 and is currently in that position. Prior to that, they worked at Swoon from 2017 to 2019, first as Head of Finance and later as FP&A Manager. At Swoon, they were responsible for managing the annual budget and re-forecasts, developing margin analytics tools, and overseeing cost control and headcount forecasting. Annie also worked closely with the CFO and CEO on board meeting material and project prioritization. Before Swoon, Annie worked at McDonald's from 2014 to 2017, holding roles such as Senior Financial Accountant and Financial Accountant. Annie also had an earlier role at McDonald's as an Assistant Real Estate Accountant from 2014 to 2015. Annie began their career at BDO LLP as a Trainee Accountant from 2011 to 2014. During their time at BDO, they worked with clients in the Real Estate and Construction sector and prepared a successful bid proposal worth over £800k.

Annie Revill attended Heckmondwike Grammar School from 2000 to 2007, where they completed their A levels in Mathematics, English Language, Geography, and Business Studies, achieving a grade A in each subject. Annie then went on to study at the University of Leeds from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics with Finance. During their time at Leeds, Annie also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of California, Los Angeles, from 2009 to 2010, where they focused on Mathematics. In 2014, they obtained the ACA certification from the ICAEW.
