Geunsaeng Ahn has a diverse range of work experience. Currently, they are working as the Manager of Digital Education at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. In this role, Geunsaeng consults various teams on creating accurate and inclusive sexual and reproductive health education content. They also translate complex medical topics into accessible content for the organization's digital platforms.

Prior to this, Geunsaeng worked as a Therapist at Liberation-Based Therapy LCSW, PLLC, providing individual, partner, and family therapy using culturally affirming approaches. They conducted assessments, developed treatment plans, and maintained progress notes for clients.

They also served as the Director of Caregiver Services at Hamilton-Madison House, leading a team and overseeing counseling and support services for caregivers in the Asian American community.

As a Founding Member and Grants Manager at Homecoming Collective, Geunsaeng facilitated team meetings and assisted in program planning and project coordination for community healing initiatives for Queer, Trans, Non-Binary, and Gender Non-Conforming People of Color.

Geunsaeng Ahn completed a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in 2013. In 2017, Geunsaeng enrolled in two graduate programs at Columbia University, namely, the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and the Columbia School of Social Work. Geunsaeng obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the Mailman School of Public Health and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Clinical/Medical Social Work from the Columbia School of Social Work in 2020.
