Carrie Harden Smith

Carrie Harden Smith possesses extensive experience in both education and purchasing management. Currently serving as a 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Teacher, as well as a Special Education Teacher at Plano ISD since August 2016, Carrie has a solid foundation in teaching. Prior to this role, Carrie held various positions including Director and Preschool Teacher at Bar-T - Year Round Programs for Kids from August 2014 to June 2016. In the purchasing sector, Carrie worked as a Purchasing Manager at Stanley Martin Homes, overseeing trade materials for multiple communities, and held several purchasing coordinator roles at companies like PulteGroup, Sotherby Homes, and Highland Homes, where responsibilities included budget management and vendor communication. Earlier career experiences also include roles as an Executive Recruiter and Human Resources Administrator. Carrie holds a BA in Sociology from The University of Texas at Dallas.
