Hendrik Hotz currently serves as Group Leader Product Development and Project Manager at Plansee since January 2021, overseeing product and process development for a key customer in the semiconductor industry across all project phases. Previously, Hendrik held the position of Research Engineer at Lehrstuhl für Fertigungstechnik und Betriebsorganisation der TU Kaiserslautern from June 2016 to December 2020, where the focus was on a PhD thesis regarding cryogenic turning of metastable austenitic steels, along with project management and further research in additive manufacturing and artificial intelligence. Hendrik holds a Doctor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
