Razvan Ion has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Razvan started their career at Simpology Romania as a Software Developer, where they implemented a mortgage brokerage application for Australian banks. Razvan then joined HSBC Global Banking and Markets as a Summit Applications Developer, where they improved the speed of projects and rethought algorithms to increase efficiency. After that, they worked at Misys as a Senior Consultant, providing advice to clients on extending the Summit trading platform and analyzing pricing of financial products.
Razvan then joined Jefferies as a Front Office Developer, where they developed tools for displaying and analyzing pricing data and maintained applications for the Asset Management and Convertible Bonds desk. Razvan later worked at Gameloft as a Developer and Software Architect, redesigning the architecture for online libraries and collaborating with stakeholders to establish priorities and design new APIs.
At SAP, Razvan held the position of Full Stack Senior Developer, working on various optimization and forecasting projects. Razvan designed and implemented interfaces for projects that predicted oil well downtimes using internal algorithms.
Razvan then joined IHS Markit as a Hands-on Team Lead and Local Manager, utilizing technologies such as C#, AWS, .NET Core, and ASP.NET. Their responsibilities included managing local teams and utilizing various AWS services for development projects.
Currently, Razvan is working at Plant an App as a Software Developer, where they continue to develop their skills and contribute to software development projects.
Throughout their career, Razvan has gained experience with various technologies such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, Git, and SQL. Razvan has also demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills, actively identifying issues, analyzing requirements, and developing effective solutions.

Razvan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Mathematics, which they attended from 2001 to 2005.
Subsequently, Razvan pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the same institution, the Faculty of Mathematics, from 2005 to 2007.
Later on, from 2010 to 2012, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they successfully obtained a Master's degree in Finance, with a focus on General Finance.
