Doug Satre

Doug Satre has a diverse work experience. Doug served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Plant With Purpose, where they worked with various stakeholders to raise awareness and financial support for the organization's mission. Prior to that, they were the Director of Development at Plant With Purpose for eight years, overseeing fundraising and marketing efforts. Doug also served as an Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville, Oregon and Mount Soledad Presbyterian Church in La Jolla, CA. In addition, they worked as a Pastor at the American Protestant Church in Bonn, Germany, providing leadership to a multinational congregation and coordinating facility usage with other congregations.

Doug Satre received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UC Santa Barbara from 1985 to 1989. Doug then pursued further education at Fuller Theological Seminary from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Master of Divinity degree in Theology. Later, from 2008 to 2011, Doug attended UC San Diego, where they completed a certificate program in Fundraising and Philanthropy.
