Lauren Abelin started their work experience in 2014 as a Social Emotional Learning Instructor & Impact Coordinator for YES! for Schools (IAHV). Lauren worked in this role until October 2018. In 2019, they joined Hi Anxiety, a digital social impact campaign, as a Social Emotional Learning Specialist. Lauren worked with Hi Anxiety until March 2021. In 2020, Lauren co-founded PlantBaby, a company that designs and produces clean and healthy plant-based foods, beverages, formulas, and supplements. Their launch product, Kiki Milk, is a plant-based milk made with organic ingredients and superfoods.

Lauren Abelin attended Saint Joseph's University from 2006 to 2010, where they received a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Psychology.
