Austin Telling

Austin Telling, CPA, currently serves as Manager of Tax Operations and Innovation at Plante Moran, a position held since November 2021. In this role, Austin focuses on developing innovative tools and templates to enhance tax compliance and consulting processes, particularly in state and local tax, while emphasizing efficiency and accuracy through technology automation. Prior to this, Austin worked as a Senior in Tax Operations and Innovation at Flagstar Bank and held various positions in tax at Plante Moran, including Market Risk Analyst, Senior in State and Local Tax, and Staff in State and Local Tax. Austin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology (2025-2027), a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2016-2017), and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan (2011-2015).
