Tommaso (Tom) Bartalucci

Tommaso (Tom) Bartalucci has over 17 years of work experience in various engineering and managerial roles. In 2021, they began working at Plantible Foods as the VP of Engineering and Head Of Engineering. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Eat Just, Inc. as the Sr. Manager, Engineering, leading the engineering team through design, construction and commissioning of JUST new facility in Europe and driving the implementation of continuous improvement projects at JUST North America facility. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at ASR Group as the Process Manager, in charge of the Process department at the Crockett Sugar refinery. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at ASR Group as the Senior Chemical Engineer (Seconded to Corporate Engineering), developing process engineering design packages and custom software packages. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Tate & Lyle Sugars as the Pilot Plant Manager, coordinating and directing all R&D activity at the site pilot plant. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Tate & Lyle as the Chemical Engineer/Project Manager, in charge of new process development for optimization of agglomerated product manufacturing. In 2007, they also worked at Brunel University as a Researcher. From 2006 to 2007, they worked at Katolu Ltd as the General Manager and at Polyco as a Consultant, performing consultancy activity on Nylon Film Extrusion, testing new Nylon blends and Masterbatches, and implementing screw design. In 2004, they worked at Sertec s.r.l as a Consultant.

Tommaso (Tom) Bartalucci's education history began in 1998 when they attended Università di Pisa, where they earned a degree in Chemical Engineering in 2004. Tommaso (Tom) then attended London Metropolitan University in 2005 and 2006, earning an MSc in Polymer Science & Engineering. In 2007 and 2008, they attended Brunel University London. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute in 2020, a Mini-MBA from the Chicago Institute of Business in 2020, Effective Management Styles from ASR Group in 2018, Leading with Emotional Intelligence from the American Management Association in 2015, a Certificate in Pilot Plant Design and Scale-Up from CfPA - The Center for Professional Advancement in 2013, and a Certificate in Bioprocess Design from University College London in 2009.
