Gulistan Larsson has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. They started their career at Galderma in 2007 as a Microbiologist/Analytical Chemist. During their time there, they were responsible for setting up a Microbiology QC laboratory, collaborating with CRO for sterility testing and bioassays, and developing microbiological release and in-process methods. They also handled the purchasing and qualification of equipment and played a role in the validation process. Additionally, they implemented a system for integrity testing of primary packaging and performed QC analytical release methods. After leaving Galderma in 2016, Gulistan joined Octapharma as an Analytical Chemist until 2018. They then moved on to Plantvision AB, where they worked as both a Compliance Consultant and a Senior Compliance Consultant. Most recently, they joined Novavax AB (via PlantVision) as a QC Manager in 2022.
Gulistan Larsson pursued a Magisterexamen degree from Uppsala University from 2004 to 2006. Gulistan'smain field of study was chemistry with biology as a subsidiary subject. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2004, they attended Mälardalen University, where they obtained a Högskoleingenjör degree in Kemiteknik-Bioteknik (Chemical Engineering-Biotechnology).
