Tariq Hilaly

Tariq Hilaly is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the technology and finance sectors. As Co-Founder and CEO of PlanYear since July 2022, Tariq leads the development of an AI solution that streamlines insurance processes for brokers. Tariq also co-founded Lumity, Inc. in October 2013, pioneering a data-driven benefits platform that simplifies health plan decisions for businesses. Previously, Tariq served as Co-Founder and President of Motif Investing from 2010 to 2013, where significant funding, including a major investment from Goldman Sachs, was secured. Tariq's earlier roles include Vice President and Research Analyst at Alliance Bernstein and Senior Director of Corporate Development at BEA Systems, as well as positions at AlterEgo Networks and Microsoft Corporation. Tariq began a career in consulting with The Boston Consulting Group after earning an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
