Gary Talbot

Gary Talbot is a seasoned mobility development engineer specializing in accessibility solutions that enhance the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Currently serving as a Mobility Development Engineer at Plasan Carbon Composites since July 2018, Talbot focuses on lightweight composite solutions for various personal mobility devices and transportation systems. As an ADA subject matter expert at ADA Consulting, Talbot offers extensive expertise in accessible transportation and facility design. Previously, Talbot held significant roles such as Program Director for ADA at Amtrak, Presidential Appointee at the U.S. Access Board, and AGM for System Wide Accessibility at MBTA. Earlier experience includes senior positions at The Walt Disney Company and General Motors, where Talbot pioneered initiatives to improve vehicle accessibility and developed patented solutions. Talbot holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
