Gilad Ariav has over 20 years of work experience, primarily in the defense industry. Gilad started their career at Elbit Systems Ltd in 1999 as a System Engineer, specializing in C4I and Artillery Systems. In 2004, they transitioned to a Program Manager and International Programs Director role within the same company. In 2015, they joined Elbit Systems of Australia Pty Ltd as a Business Development professional. In 2018, they returned to Elbit Systems Ltd as a Senior Director, initially focused on C4ISR and later transitioning to the role of Senior Director for Business Development in Indirect Fire Weapons. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Plasan, a position they started in 2023.

Gilad Ariav attended Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
