Tyler Kaub

Tyler Kaub is an accomplished Materials Engineer at Plasma Processes LLC, where responsibilities include managing programs for government and commercial customers, performing design of experiments, testing high-temperature materials diffusion, and optimizing processing of ultra-high temperature metal and ceramic coatings for rocket motor applications. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Alabama, focusing on the relationship between stress states in metallic thin films and processing conditions, as well as a Computational Materials Science Intern at Sandia National Laboratories, simulating grain growth using 3D Kinetic Monte Carlo techniques. Tyler Kaub also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida, investigating grain growth mechanisms in high purity metals, and held the position of Secretary-General for the UF Model UN. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Metallurgical Engineering from The University of Alabama and a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida.
