Lucas Sawaya

Lucas Sawaya is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership, technical support, and sales within the engineering and surf industries. As CEO of Grupo Sawaya since January 2015, Lucas has directed the company’s strategic vision. Concurrently, Lucas serves as a Technical Support Specialist at Air Techniques and has held the role of Sales Representative for Plasma-Therm, focusing on the South American market. As the CEO and Founder of WHOOZE | Bodysurf Religion, Lucas pioneered the country's first body surfing brand and actively supported athletes from various regions of Brazil. Previous experience includes working as an Engineer Trainee at Artimar Ltda, where market research and marketing plans were primary responsibilities. Lucas was also Head Leader and an Electrical Engineer for the Mauá Baja Team during a two-year project. Academic credentials include a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Centro Universitário do Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia.
