Julia Wältz

Julia W. is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, focusing on policy mapping for Medicaid support of mobile crisis teams since September 2024. Previously, Julia served as a Technical Solutions Engineer at Epic, facilitating the success of Patient Access applications for major hospital organizations and managing complex software issues from July 2022 to June 2024. Julia's experience also includes a role as a Community Response Summer VISTA at the International Institute of St. Louis, where significant contributions were made to support new refugee arrivals. Additional positions include Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis, Campus Manager at University Tees, an Administrative Intern at Bay Area Obstetrics & Gynecology, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Washington University School of Medicine. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Healthcare Management from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently pursuing dual Master’s degrees in Public Health and Business Administration at Johns Hopkins University.
