Henrik Beha Pedersen is the founder of Plastic Change, an international organization established in May 2014, focused on raising awareness about plastic pollution in marine and environmental contexts. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Board at the Why Foundation since January 2018, Henrik actively supports campaigns addressing plastic issues. Prior to founding Plastic Change, Henrik dedicated time to vision-making in environmental scientific entrepreneurship from October 2012 to April 2014 and worked as a Programme Manager at Greenpeace from 2003 to September 2012, managing communications and leading campaigns. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Environmental Biology from Roskilde University and a degree in Mathematical and Social Science from Østre Borgerdyd gymnasium.
