Byron Ogden has extensive work experience, with their most recent role being the VP of Personnel and Culture at Plastic Express starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Transitioning Naval Officer for a brief period in 2022.
During their time at the United States Naval Academy from 2021 to 2022, they held multiple roles including LEAD Division Director, Senior Aviator, and Deputy Commandant for Leadership & Character Development.
Before that, they served as the Deputy Director of the USNA LEAD Division from 2020 to 2021. Byron also served as the Commanding Officer of Tactical Training Group Atlantic from 2019 to 2020 and as the Executive Officer from 2017 to 2019.
Additionally, they held the position of Commodore and Deputy Commodore at Amphibious Squadron SIX (CPR-6) from 2014 to 2017. Byron was also involved in Helicopter Commander Assignments at NPC from 2012 to 2014 and held various roles at HS-5, including Commanding Officer and Executive Officer from 2009 to 2012.
Byron Ogden has a strong educational background, with their education history spanning several years. Byron started their education journey by attending the United States Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS) from 1987 to 1988. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Technology, General at the United States Naval Academy, where they studied from 1988 to 1992.
After completing their undergraduate studies, Byron Ogden continued their academic pursuits, entering the U.S. Naval War College in 2006. Byron obtained their Master of Arts (MA) degree in National Security Policy Studies in 2007, focusing on this specific field of study.
Additionally, Byron Ogden has obtained a certification as a Certified Flight Instructor from the Federal Aviation Administration in July 2020, demonstrating their expertise in aviation instruction.
